Give skateboard lessons as a gift

Buy now, schedule anytime. Lock in 2026 pricing for lessons that start whenever they’re ready.

Last year, a grandmother in Westchester texted Leon the week before Christmas. Her grandson had been asking for a skateboard, and she wanted him to have a real lesson instead of just the board. She booked a 3-lesson starter pack. By January, the kid was rolling through their neighborhood on his own.

That’s the kind of gift that doesn’t end up in a closet by February.

Book a Lesson

Why lessons beat a board under the tree

A skateboard by itself is a guess. You’re hoping the kid figures it out, doesn’t get hurt, and stays interested past the first afternoon. A few lessons change the equation. They learn to stand, push, turn, stop, and fall safely, in that order. And they learn it from someone who’s been doing this for over 20 years.

Leon has taught students from age 3 to 65 across NYC and Westchester. Five-star reviews on Google. He brings the board, the helmet, and the pads. The person you’re buying for just has to show up.

The 3-lesson starter pack is the move

One lesson gets them comfortable. Three gets them rolling on their own. Most kids and teens are cruising by the third session. The starter pack is $300for three private sessions at $100each.

If two siblings or a parent and kid want to learn together, duo lessons are $180/hour for both.
