What to Expect
The Greenway Trail, the flat ground outside Ebersole, Kittrell Park—Leon picks the spot based on what you’re working on that day. He’ll ask about your experience level before you start. Complete beginners go through stance, balance, and their first push (here’s what a first skateboard lesson looks like). Students with some time on the board jump straight into the skills they want to sharpen.
Plan for about an hour per session. Own board or not, Leon has you covered—though having your own means you can practice between lessons on the Greenway or wherever you ride.
