How It Works
Step 1
You Pick the Schedule
Choose how many weeks and sessions per week. Most schools run 4 sessions over a month, once a week. Leon works around your bell schedule.
Step 2
Leon Brings Everything
Skateboards, helmets, pads, cones, and an assistant instructor. Students just show up in sneakers and clothes they can move in.
Step 3
Students Learn to Ride
Small groups (max 20 per session), structured progression from balance to riding to basic tricks. Every kid works at the level they're at.
Why Skateboarding Works in Schools
Most PE enrichment programs are team sports repackaged. Skateboarding is different. There’s no bench, no tryouts, no kid standing in the outfield picking grass. Every student is on a board from minute one, working on their own progression.
It works for the athletic kid and the kid who hates gym class. Students with ADHD often do well because skateboarding demands focus without requiring them to sit still. A growing body of research supports what Leon has seen for two decades: skateboarding improves balance, coordination, emotional regulation, and self-confidence.
It’s also an Olympic sport now. Skateboarding is in the 2028 LA Games, and students recognize it as a real athletic pursuit. That credibility matters when you’re trying to get a 12-year-old to try something new.
What’s Included
All Equipment
Skateboards, helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards for every student. Leon maintains and inspects all gear before each session.
Assistant Instructors
An additional instructor for every session, keeping the ratio tight so no student gets lost in the group. Leon leads, the assistant supports.
Structured Curriculum
A progression plan from day one to the final session. Students build on what they learned the week before. Balance, pushing, turning, stopping, and basic skatepark skills.
